Skin Boosters

The next generation of aesthetics focuses on preventive measures to preserve natural beauty.

Skin Boosters refer to a family of products and/or treatments that specifically target skin quality. Broadly speaking, they include Hyaluronic Acid (HA) products, Polynucleotides (PN) products and stem-cell derived products (exosomes, Calecim).

Overview

  • Hydration

Skin Boosters provide the skin with deep hydration to create a lit-from-within radiance and healthy glow.

  • Skin Quality

Skin Boosters improve skin quality by improving pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Fillers can be used to correct facial asymmetry or scars that are refractory to treatments, or are unable to be treated for various reasons.

Benefits of Skin Boosters
  • Scars

Skin Boosters can improve scars through collagen remodelling and improve their appearance of scars by improving hydration and texture.

  • Pigmentation

Skin Boosters may directly improve pigmentation, or reduce their appearance by improving skin quality.

  • Acne / Eczema

Skin Boosters lock in hydration in the deeper layer of the skin. This reduces dryness and sensitivity in eczema-prone skin. In acne-prone skin, this reduces oiliness and breakouts.

We use the following types of skin boosters at White Aesthetics:

Polynucleotides

(婴儿针)

HA-based

(水光针)

Exosomes

NAHYCO 5 point HA is a HA product that delivers hydration with subtle volumising and lifting. NAHYCO Structure has more lifting properties than hydrating properties to additionally address skin laxity and sagginess.

HA-Glycerol is a combination skin booster with HA and glycerol that is potent and long-lasting.

Polynucleotide Skin Boosters are recommended for scar remodelling, skin glow and uneven pigmentation.

Exosomes use stem-cell derived growth factors to aid in skin repair and hydration. It is the only family of the above that is used with microneedling, not injected.

How do I choose?

Our recommendation in selection criteria boils down to 3 main factors:

  1. Skin type and primary skin concerns

  2. Tolerability of the procedure and downtime involved

  3. Longevity and cost of the treatment

We will always recommend the most ideal treatment to achieve your goals, while tailoring the second and third points to ensure a comfortable and sustainable treatment plan for you.

Skin Boosters are suitable for everyone.

Skin Boosters vary in their mode of delivery. This ranges from micro intradermal injection to cannula delivery (fewer injection points) to microneedling infusion.

Those with specific concerns such as scars or pigmentation may benefit more from one type over another. Leave it to us to recommend which Skin Booster is most suitable for you, based on our experience and your skin goals.
