How does Radiesse® work?
Radiesse builds your unique structural contours by stimulating collagen and elastin production. Results are immediate, natural, and subtle, for a look that perfectly complements your unique beauty.
Radiesse has 2 components - Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel, which is the carrier, and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres which are the active ingredient in Radiesse.
CaHA is a biocompatible and biodegradable material that is the basic component of our bones.
Radiesse is known as a regenerative biostimulator due to its ability to stimulate the production of type I & III collagen, elastin and proteoglycans, as well as increase angiogenesis, cell proliferation and fibroblast contractility
